Loco Edits London Critics’ Circle Film Awards

Last night was the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards, a black tie event held at the BFI Southbank to celebrate the best in world cinema as judged by over 120 UK film critics, broadcasters and writers. Loco’s Jon Davey and Miland Suman worked closely with the production team Natalia Maus and Louise Stevens of Ballistic Events and Tim Smith from the BFI as well as film critics, Rich Cline and Roger Clarke to edit the on-screen content for the ceremony.

The Artist, Drive, A Separation, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and The Tree of Life were up for film of the year while the Dilys Powell Award for Excellence in Film honoured veteran British filmmaker Nicolas Roeg. With so many cinematic luminaries among the nominees, Vanessa Redgrave, George Clooney Tilda Swinton, Kenneth Branagh, Meryl Streep, Ryan Gosling, Kirsten Dunst, Gary Oldman, Michael Fassbender, and Carey Mulligan to name a few, it was sure to be a star-studded affair.
