Dave Waldman specialises in writing and directing high-concept creative treatments for brands. His impressive roster includes work for Channel 4, Cadbury, Nissan, Peugeot, Dove, Nike, Nokia, Coke, Lotus, Commerzbank, the V&A and the BBC. He is a hands-on director with expertise in motion graphic editing as well as live action shoots.
Dave began his Creative career as an Art Director at the Times newspaper soon after obtaining his illustration degree at Ravensbourne. As he continued to develop his skills, he became more interested in moving image, so he retrained as a motion graphics designer. He cut his teeth as a Director at Virgin Media where he was enticed into the world of advertising.
Dave’s background in illustration and design enables him to work seamlessly through the full creative process from inception to delivery, and he is adept at translating marketing briefs into multi-platform, highly creative communication strategies.
Dave has shot with crews in Brazil, LA as well Europe and the UK. In addition to directing and motion graphics editing, he is an accomplished portrait photographer and has written and directed documentaries for BBC Radio and television.
