Loco once again served as the post-production partner for the 9th annual Meffys, the most sought-after global awards for mobile content and commerce. This year featured a short-list of 65 nominees across 12 categories with two further awards selected at the MEF conference. The gala awards dinner was hosted by Paddy Cullivan and the Camembert Quartet, who are best known as the front man and house band of the world’s longest-running TV chat programme, The Late Late Show.
Loco worked closely with producer Louise Stevens of Ballistic Events and Events Director Kim Arazi of MEF to consult on video specifications, collate the nominees’ submissions, as well as edit the nominations packages and intro video. Sparkloop, the branding team for MEF, created the brand design, which Loco was able to develop into animations and video frames for the categories. The show production was handled by Reality Awards at London’s Park Lane Hotel. (See photo above courtesy of Kristos Georgiou.)
The Meffys is Loco’s most recent project with Ballistic Events and builds on our continuing collaboration on such events as the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards, Amnesty International UK Media Awards, BT Digital Music Awards, UK Music Video Awards and BUG, the bimonthly music video night hosted by Adam Buxton at the BFI.
